WordPress: 500 Internal Server Error

If there is already a php.ini file in your folder, x will be a series of numbers: 32, 64, 128, 256, 512. Please double this number. Example: Your php.ini file says memory=64MB. Change “64” to “128”. If you have created your own php.ini file, give x the value 128 or 256. Now please save the file and make sure that the file you just created finds its place in the right place within your WordPress installation ( Folder: wp-admin, as described above).

If the Internal Server Error is not exclusively related to the WordPress admin area, do the following: Locate the wp-config.php file in the root of your installation. Add the following line after the first opening php:
