Actually, it should be quite easy to log into the WordPress dashboard. But newcomers in particular are wondering where to find the WordPress login. Logging into WordPress is fairly easy once you know how and where. Find out here.
The WordPress login URL
When you create a new WordPress site, a default URL for the login area to your backend is also created. This path will take you to your login area. This WordPress login URL is always structured according to the same pattern. It consists of the URL of your new domain and the addition “wp-login.php“.
The question now is whether you set up your website via wordpress.com or whether you are a wordpress.org user and have installed WordPress on a server yourself. If you use the free version of wordpress.com, your domain is part of the wordpress.com multisite. Your URL is now www.yourdomain.wordpress.com.
You can read the exact differences in the article wordpress.com vs. WordPress.org.
Now you have to enter the URL of your domain and add “wp-login.phpcombine together. In our example, the link to the WordPress login would be as follows:
You can use this link to access your WordPress login at any time. Alternatively, you can simply add “/wp-admin“, then you will also be forwarded to the WordPress login.
If you don’t want to keep visiting the page this way, you can bookmark it in your browser. Or you can use the option of embedding or linking the WordPress login directly on your site.
