Among the new series in January there will be something to watch. The month offers a lot of content for a teenage audience, although adults will not be left without interesting projects. Obviously, among all the premieres, the long-awaited film adaptation of The Last of Us stands out.

“Kaleidoscope” / Kaleidoscope

Immediately after the celebration of the New Year, viewers can, as they say, stick to a fresh series. A story based on a true story is coming to Netflix. She talks about a team of experienced thieves. Once upon a time, during Hurricane Sandy, bonds for a huge amount disappeared in midtown Manhattan: we are talking about billions of dollars. To get hold of such wealth, the heroes will have to break into an extremely secure vault.

Another crime story, and again from Netflix. The project is of interest primarily due to the name of the director – Nicolas Winding Refn worked on it. The famous Dane filmed in his homeland and the events of the series will take place in the capital of Denmark. There, the two main characters Miu and Raquel will plunge into the dangerous adventures that the underworld of the modern metropolis offers.

Mayfair Witches / Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches

“One of us” / The Last of Us

In the middle of the month, its most anticipated premiere will take place – a film adaptation of the famous 2013 video game of the same name. The project was led by Craig Mazin, responsible for the success of Chernobyl, as well as Neil Druckmann who worked on the game. The action will take place in a post-apocalyptic future world after a global pandemic, in which the smuggler Joel needs to get 14-year-old Ellie out of the quarantine zone.
