iX Workshop: Digital Forensics & Incident Response (Last Call)

Phishing, ransomware and other types of web attacks and malware are part of everyday business life. In the two-day iX workshop Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) you will learn the tools and techniques to quickly detect cyber attacks, identify affected systems, secure traces of attacks and initiate appropriate countermeasures. We are offering this safety training with a high practical component on August 2nd and 3rd as an online workshop.

After participating in this workshop, you will know what distinguishes incident response (incident management) and digital forensics from each other and what measures and options are available to you in the event of an intrusion via the Internet – for example with ransomware – both technically and organizationally.

In this workshop you will work with a virtual Windows 10 machine so that you can try out and implement the presented techniques, tools and strategies from the two DFIR disciplines directly in practice. Speaker Gregor Wegberg works as Head of Digital Forensics & Incident Response at the consulting firm Oneconsult as a penetration tester and senior security consultant.

Does the August date not fit? We also offer this DFIR workshop at the beginning of October.

Would you like to know what you have to consider when tendering and commissioning penetration tests by professional security service providers? In November we are offering the online workshop on penetration tests on this topic: understanding the methodology, writing it out correctly and evaluating the results.
