Chrome 100.0.4896.60 is here, fixes 28 vulnerabilities | Born’s IT

[English]On March 29, 2022, Google released updates of Google Chrome 100.0.4896.60 for Windows and Mac on the desktop in the stable channel. The new version only brings the 100 in the version number, but also fixes 28 security gaps, some of which are classified as high. In addition, the Android browser has been updated to version 100.0.4896.5. Here is a brief overview.

There are also various fixes that Google found internally during audits. However, no details of the vulnerabilities will be published until the majority of users have switched.

The Chrome version for Windows, Mac and Linux will be rolled out to the systems in the next few days via the automatic update function. You can also update the browser manually (via the menu and the About Google Chrome command). The current build of the Chrome browser can also be downloaded here.
