Artificial intelligence: Nvidia AI Enterprise 2.1 is connected to OpenShift

Nvidia AI Enterprise has released version 2.1. In it, Nvidia provides the cloud-native software for artificial intelligence (AI) and data analysis with new features such as the connection to Red Hat OpenShift. Nvidia AI Enterprise includes open-source frameworks and tools for developing and deploying AI software, offers Nvidia Enterprise support, and can be deployed in both enterprise data centers and the public cloud.

Thanks to the collaboration between Nvidia and Red Hat, Nvidia AI Enterprise can now be used with the Kubernetes platform Red Hat OpenShift. This should give customers the choice of deploying in both bare metal and virtualized environments – on premises or in the cloud.

Nvidia AI Enterprise 2.1 is also compatible with the latest version of the Nvidia TAO Toolkit. Built on top of TensorFlow and PyTorch, the toolkit is a low-code execution of the Nvidia TAO framework for building custom, production-ready models for AI speech and computer vision applications. New features in Nvidia TAO Toolkit 22.05 include REST API integration, importing pre-trained weights, integration with visualization tool TensorBoard, and new pre-trained models.

Other new features in Nvidia AI Enterprise 2.1 include added support for Azure NVads A10 v5 instances running on Nvidia A10 Tensor Core GPUs.

All details about the new release can be found on Nvidia’s developer blog.
